West Coast Road, Kirwee

Graham Surveying  completed a two-lot subdivision to create a separate title for an accommodation business from an existing 12ha land parcel within an existing farm. 

This project had some complexities through the consenting process as the proposed new lot was significantly below the required minimum lot size and required the provision of open space covenants on adjacent land owned by our client and the obtaining of neighbours approvals to the proposed subdivision. 

Our scope of work on this project included: 

  • Obtain subdivision consent from Selwyn District Council including approvals from NZTA as the site takes access from a State Highway. 
  • Completion of the Land Transfer survey and obtain approval as to survey.  
  • Obtaining the section 224c Certification from Council. 
  • Coordination with solicitor on LINZ documentation for the issue of new titles.
