Richard established Graham Surveying in May 2016 and as Managing Director has responsibility for the sustainable growth and development of the company and ensuring individual projects undertaken by Graham Surveying are delivered on time, budget and to the scope required by clients. The successfully delivery of projects is reflected in the growth in staff numbers from an initial 3 in May 2016 to the current team of 32 surveyors and resource management planners.
Prior to establishing Graham Surveying Richard spent 16 years working for a global infrastructure company where his roles included Christchurch Business Unit Manager and Principal Surveyor with responsibility for technical development and business strategy and growth across the New Zealand survey and spatial teams. Richard’s management and strategic capabilities have been further strengthened through the completion of an MBA (Distinction) at the University of Canterbury in 2015.
